Aluminum suspension damper body forming method

Aluminum alloy damper body is partly used for special vehicles such as two wheel / four wheel racers, but it is constructed by welding structure cast by gravity casting method. Therefore, because it is more expensive in price than steel, the adoption to passenger cars is limited. Utilizing the 800 ton hydraulic servo press we introduced, we succeeded in integrating aluminum suspension damper body by double acting of mold and development of pressure control technology.
This realizes the weight reduction of the damper body and it is possible to provide the price as same as the steel product.
